Events & Festivals
Our events team is scalable from small local events to large-scale festivals and sports grounds. The team is comprised of our Mobile Operations Unit, Stewards, SIA Operatives and Response Teams.
· Our guards are deployed to static or roaming positions: Static guards are placed at key areas of your event that need a constant level of supervision, whereas roaming guards are deployed to move amongst the crowds, allowing them to cover an entire area and assess the grounds.
· Response teams and vehicles are deployed as and when needed; these teams are on hand to be on the scene of any incident as soon as possible, whether that be a medical emergency or an altercation.
· We can be on hand prior to the event to help with planning, risk assessments, crowd control measures, radio hire and traffic calming measures. After the event, we can be there to ensure all equipment/money is safe and the grounds are completely secure.
· The control unit is the hub of our events team; all communication is passed through control, which then liaises with management, emergency services, entertainment teams and hospitality/catering ensuring our operatives are deployed correctly.
· Stewards make up a large part of our events team and are responsible for traffic management, queue systems and non-conflict situations. They are a great addition to a security team and enjoy helping to ensure an event runs smoothly.

Door Supervision
Door Supervisors are the first point of contact that customers will have upon entering a venue, so it is crucial that they represent you in a competent and professional manner. Our Door Supervisors minimise conflict and deal with any potential threats to the safety of the people present. They can also be utilised for entrance/exit search policies, ensuring licensing laws and fire safety rules are adhered to, ticket checking and the safeguarding of valuables.

Mobile Patrols & Site Guarding
Protecting your business and property is important, and it’s our top priority to ensure your business can operate as normal without loss. We can provide an affordable and visible deterrent against crime and anyone wanting to harm your business.
Every premises is different and requires a different approach; we will work with you to develop the best and most effective plan to protect your property. We carry out patrols during the day or night and there’s no limit on the number of patrols we complete, this is up to you! The patrol will be completed in one of our branded response vehicles to provide a visible presence in the area. We will also install signage to inform passersby that the premises are secured and monitored. All our patrol operatives are SIA licensed and provided with all the necessary equipment to support them with patrolling effectively. They will be in full AKON uniform with a high-visibility jacket, supporting with the visible presence. While on-site, our guards will complete an online patrol log which is customisable to your needs and can include:

Alarm Response & Key Holding
When you’re away from your premises, you want to make sure it is safe and secure. An alarm is beneficial and a great deterrent, however, if the alarm activates who is going to respond? The police may not have the resources available to attend and you cannot put yourself at risk - this is where we come in.
We can send operatives to any alarm activations and perform a full sweep of the area to check for any potential threats and ensure the building and site are secure. If we find evidence of a break-in or attempted break-in, the police will be called and updated immediately. We can also keep you fully updated of our findings.
Any keys provided to us will be tagged with an internal reference number and kept in a secure lockbox. In the unlikely event the keys are stolen, there will not be any addresses linked to them.
Stewarding Teams
Our stewards can provide a range of services to support your business or event. Stewards play an essential role in events, ensuring crowds are managed appropriately, customers are directed to the correct places, and keeping an eye out for any potential problems.

CCTV Operatives
Akon Security provide Level 2 CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Operators to clients such as City Council Offices, Galleries, Nightclubs, retail venues and many more.
Our CCTV Operators have been trained to:
· Understand legislation as it applies to the individual in carrying out a licensable activity
· Understand the importance of safe working practices to comply with legal requirements
· Understand emergencies and the importance of emergency procedures
· Understand the roles and responsibilities of the CCTV operator and other CCTV staff, as well as codes of practice, operational procedures and guidelines
